이번 세션에서는 영어 원어민이 일상 대화에서 자주 사용하는 청크와 구동사 24개를 학습했습니다. 예상치 못한 상황에 반응하기, 진행 상황 표현하기, 불확실성과 판단에 관한 표현 등 다양한 맥락에서 쓸 수 있는 표현들을 두루 다루었습니다. 이 표현들을 익히면 보다 자연스럽고 유창한 영어 대화가 가능해집니다.

📦 Phrasal Verbs & Chunks

Good to know — 상대방이 유용한 정보를 줬을 때 ‘알려줘서 고마워요/좋은 정보네요’라는 의미로 사용합니다.

  • The parking lot is closed all week — good to know!
    • 주차장이 이번 주 내내 닫혀 있대요 — 알아두면 좋은 정보네요!

A: The café opens an hour later on Mondays.

That explains a lot — 어떤 상황이 이해가 될 때 사용합니다. 유머러스하거나 비꼬는 의미로 쓰일 수도 있으니 주의가 필요합니다.
